My Best Practice is an EHR that specializes in private pay practices. Our system creates out-of-network superbills automatically following each session and/or you can set up your account to create and send a monthly superbill to all of your clients. Your clients even have the ability to create on-demand invoices/superbills for any date range directly from within their secure client portal.
That said, we want all of our users to have a great experience, not just our private pay practices. Therefore, we encourage any practice that needs in-network insurance billing to have a professional biller who handles their claim submissions. If you already have a biller, you can continue utilizing their services by granting them access to your account as a free non-clinical user. If you do not have a biller, we recommend you contact and use Shafer Billing (www.shaferbilling.com). While their billing service will charge a fee, they will be sure any rejections are challenged and that your revenue cycle remains smooth. They also have a working knowledge of the submission process through our integrated clearinghouse (ClaimMD).
We want everyone to be incredibly satisfied with their use of My Best Practice, so we’d rather users choose the software that best meets the needs of their practice. If in-network insurance billing is your priority, and you don’t want to use a billing service to assist with your claim submission, then MBP may not be the best fit at this time.

1-hour consultation/assessment call (Admin Team & Designated MBP Account Manager)
Go over current processes and practice needs
Help configure all account settings / teach your admin team how to make adjustments
Provide client migration template instructions
Gather all intake forms/documents
Create a custom timeline for onboarding your entire team
Re-creation of up to 5 custom intake forms within MBP (not to exceed 10 pages in total)
Automatic import of all client records (client demographics and all client documents)
30-min training session with your staff members to help orient them to the basic functions of MBP (creating clients, adding appointments, writing notes, etc.)
This will be scheduled to meet the majority of your staff's availability.
Recordings will be provided for those who cannot attend
Two scheduled 30-minute check-in calls (or four 15-minute check ins) to discuss how the migration is going and how we can best support your team.
Must be scheduled within the first 90 days of your subscription
Ongoing support access for your whole team via our ticketing system
